How long do these engines last for?
The one i bought has 190K on the clock.. worried abit that the engine might give up soon!

If looked after, the 1.9 will last for ever and ever. The fuel pump is particularly indestructible. You'll die before it doesThe word "unblowupable" has been thrown around a lot these days...
Personally I've got 165K, but I often hear of well maintained diesels going 250 and more. Neighbour of mine bought an ex-taxi which had been around the clock twice
Just make sure you do the belts and gaskets REGULARLY.

Blimey!! 209!! Looks like ill be keeping mine for a while then!
