hi chief - sorted the droplinks - must have been lucky - the first was done in 20 min but the second did as you all said it would and rounded off with allen key, so chopped the bush away, snapped the moles on and loads of wd40 and bingo - off with the old, on with the new and no more knocking, and saved a few quid in the process.
Invaluable Advice
thanks all

Just changed the front drop links 4mm allen key in the hole and an 18mm ring spanner for nut on the droplink. New ones were only a tenner
from GSF same method to replace 4mm allen key but a 19mm ring spanner on the nut this time- both done in an hour

That's all well and good if you can get the top nuts undone without butchering them! I'd change the antirollbar bushes if they need doing while you've got the links off.Phil406rapier wrote:Just changed the front drop links 4mm allen key in the hole and an 18mm ring spanner for nut on the droplink.
