2.1 TD Injectors

What problems would i experiance if i had problems withthe injectors.

I previosly put the car through a puddle, drowned her, and run out of fuel.

I dont think the water was a problem, although it didnt like it, but i put some fuel in, but the erson who got the fuel for use, didnt clean the container out, my filter blocked up with LOADS of white crap.

now months on and a couple of filter changes, she still hasnt got better. the smokes not as bad... all the time. but shes still.... "hunting"
shes fine when she starts up, although loud. then a minite or so she sounds like poo. and the revs go up and down. But runs still. just sounds like a tappety tank.

oh and the exhaust smells very STRONG
