I'm sure we've all had a time when fixing a car and you wish you never bothered or atleast bought a replacement bolt before you started. Well, today I decided to replace the Front and rear drop links and the rear upper arms.
All was going well until I got to the replacing the rear links and arms. First of all, what a stupid place to put a rear drop link and not giving you hardly any room to gain access to the bottom nuts. After removing the caliper, undoing the top nut and using a hammer gun on the bottom nut it finally came off. Not that difficult, well it would of been without a hammer gun! Anyway, used the angle grinder to cut the ball joint off the upper arm as it was very rusty. Removed the nut on the bolt attaching the arm to the chassis to find some muppet had put the washer on wrong and jammed the bolt. The only way to remove it was using the angle grinder again.... This time the disc broke and caused the grinder to kick back and nick the brake line... Resulting in needing a new flexible brake hose

It's times like these when you hate your car.... Stupid thing
