Hi
I have an S-reg 1.8LX (you can tell I'm new !) that most of the time starts up with no problems, but on the odd occasion, I fire it up and unless I keep my foot on the accelerator, it just stalls. It will keep doing this until the car is warm. It has started doing this more and more often, which makes me thinks something is about to completely give up.
I wondered if it was some kind of 'automatic choke' issue. I'm quite basic when it comes to mechanics, but willing to follow simple instructions to rectify, if it saves me a trip to the garage.
Your comments would be appreciated.
Cheers

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Thanks MJB.
I had a look at this and wondered if this could help solve my problems, but with me being mechanically naive shall we say, I wanted to get the opinion of a few experts.
I'll give it a go.
Cheers.
