Where can I find out part numbers??

Post by NorthernMonkey »

Hi,
Newbie here needing some help!
Iv had a few pugs, and always struggle to get parts up here in the far north of Scotland. This has led to some very costly mistakes in ordering (wrong) bits over the phone... so where can I find the proper part numbers?
My current issue is the short flattened metal pipe that runs from the lower radiator accross the face of the lower pulley (visible if you take of the wheel arch front drivers side)... the Inverness Pug garage has 4 on order for customers, but they dont expect them to arrive apparently. No stock I believe. So I need to get on the blower and find one myself (at £57 + Vat +_ Delivery + fitting I cant afford for it to be wrong!! :| )
Any help gratefully recieved!!
Cheers

Have you asked your local dealer for the part number?

Make sure that you have your chassis number (VIN number) and registration number to hand, then ask them to check national stock, If they won't give you national stock (they usually do at my local dealer), then ask them for the the part number, they usually tell.

Failing that, ring up another dealer and ask, the Peugeot website should give you details of dealers.

Welcome Monkey!
Register at Servicebox, put in your VIN and it'll give you the correct part no.

Champion :cheesy:
I assumed they had checked nationally but now you mention it, no-one said as much... Il pop back in and get the part number and do it myself though!
Hopefully it will correspond with the number Im about to get from 'Servicebox' too...
