That's the engine diagnostic light, ie, management warning light, as I described above, picture of an engine.
If this light is on all the time, you may have a problem somewhere connected with the engine management system, have the system connected to a diagnostic machine or code reader.
Sometimes this light comes on for no apparent reason, then goes out by itself after the car has done a self diagnosis.
If there is nothing apparently wrong, you may clear the light by disconnecting the battery for 30 minutes, but make sure you have the radio code if you have a coded radio. As I said, sometimes they clear themselves.
Maybe you should have it looked at, there will be a fault code stored in the ECU if something is wrong. Sometimes a minor fault occurrs, puts the light on, then rights itself, hence once the ECU does its self-diagnosis, the light may go out.
The "K" light means that there is some fault code which is being emitted from a sensor and logged in the ECU - Check and clear the fault codes and do what needs to be done!
I be temped to clear the faults and then see if it comes back. could be caused just by bad connect or something (especially in this weather). So worth checking there is a "real" fault code (one that comes back) than going out spending more on fault code reader or getting someone else to.
