Re: Cheer up Supa day today
Comes With The Chrome Headlamps? Something in Welsh? (I only got as far as knowing enough not to wander into the ladies by mistake. Again )
I dunno, when it all goes tits-up I think how, in a year's time, I'll look back and laugh. Well, it worked for me that time I got caught in an almighty thunderstorm lost in the middle of nowhere walking the dog and realised I was the highest point for miles around...
Crude oil $35.14? No?
How about my latest Croatian? I'm really crap when it comes to language and it seems like the only words I can remember are the ones I can work out a way of remembering (e.g. dog = PAS, power-assisted steering, geddit?). The other day I discovered toes is "nožni prsti" - literally "leg fingers". What, like they're growing out of your knees or summink? How to spot the Croat accountant - he's the one with bare feet.

Re: Cheer up Supa day today
While I'm staggered that a Welsh colloquial word has made it into the Oxford English Dictionary , I have to point out that a cwtch is soooo much more than a hug. Unfortunately the English language is sadly lacking an equivalent word, or indeed the words to adequately describe a cwtch, so I'll just have to make do....The Oxford ENGLISH Dictionary wrote:Cwtch : noun (Welsh)
1. a cupboard or cubbyhole.
2. a cuddle or hug.
Big Hug Sooops
OK, How about this.....
The importance of checking homework.
Mummy works at Bunnings (a hardware store) , she was selling a shovel !

This place is a bit like church really, without the man with beard stuff. I reckon that without it, Mrs Television (aka Mrs Mad, Grandma Knobcheese etc.) would be an outline on the floor by now
