Re: 90 hdi
Performance Torque in Wolverhampton did mine (see his website www.p-torque.co.uk ), a fantastic bloke named Will. It totally transformed the car, much better performance and as a bonus 8% better mpg. Engine ran much smoother with no flat spots (unlike standard spec). Did over 30K before I chopped the car in, always ran sweet. The only thing that I would advise just to be really, really, really safe - change your oil/filter every 5,000 miles, not that it changed anything for me since I did that anyway - just do

Re: 90 hdi
I fitted a Tuning Box (no more than 5 mins) within a couple of weeks of buying my D9 90 HDi Estate. The main improvement was the performance, and the other improvement was the MPG. I went on holiday a month after fitting it and the MPG went from 48mpg to 56.7mpg using 65% motorways (at an average speed of 80) and 35% of A roads averaging approx 40 mph.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but the 90 HDi is the only one without the Dual-Mass flywheel. So, the costs of a TB or remap bring you up (and over) to the performance of the 110. In the long term it would save on costs of the flywheel.

Re: 90 hdi
Hi, I took a punt on Ebay for no more than £150. They were called Tandem Tuning and had good feedback. I should say, I decided to go for a TB so I could either keep it or sell it on with the car. I'm glad I did, because I saved on a remap, which I would've had done if the TB hadn't worked, but as I was confident it I could keep it for my next HDi that I would get in the future.
From going from the standard to having fitted the box, it was like having some rockets connected to the back. This became very noticeable because the motorway junction I often join is a very steep gradient and really felt the power come into play. I had to lift off the pedal a little.
Don't know if there are many HDi boxes on Ebay though because I ain't looked since I bought mine.
Hope that helps you.
