steering problem

i have been offered a rather tidy 2.0 litre petrol GLX at a knockdown price,its only fault is the steering is dead stiff on the left hand lock.

any one know anything about this problem or do i break it-put the leather seats in my D8 rob it for parts to flog on thief-bay or repair it?

You buy it, see what's wrong, if it's too expensive the seats end up in your D8, if not you flog it for a tidy profit.
