Clutch screams when depressed.
A above, push the clutch in, and it screams its nads off, Release bearing maybe? - Any ideas of cost from local independant garage / how many hours?

Not really but it wont be cheap, it means removing the gearbox which is quite a job. I would guess at about 6 hours labour plus parts. You may well find that the clutch and DMF need changing as well.

Possibly not, it didn't in the Xantia anyway. Have a look on ebay and see if they list one for the 90hp.

Five hours for the full clutch...the 90 is the easiest of the lot...definitely NO DMF.

Thanks, Local Mechanic quoted £400 quid for the full clutch and release bearing..............
