1998 - 406 - D8 - SV AT - MAF Sensor Location ?

Hello Guys ,

I have 1998 - 406 SV AT - D8 , i have tried to find MAF sensor location, i watched many videos on youtube everybody showing location but in HDI not in gasoline.

I tried to find same location but i have failed , anybody know in D8 gasoline MAF sensor location ? with picture would be nice..

There is no MAF sensor on petrol (gasoline) 406s

omg , thank you very much , what it have instead of MAF ? because i'm living some problem with throttle , specially acceleration cutting of in some rpm.

There is typically a MAP (manifold air pressure) sensor, which is used by the ECU to calculate fuelling (instead of a MAF in a diesel HDi engine).

Another possible (likely) culprit is the throttle position sensor (TPS).
