sounds a bit like mine , think i`ll get thr filter lid seal changed cos was thinking that couls be a point of entry
this issue has developed over 5000 miles of motoring for mine
was ok when got it
November 2010
wouldnt start (no glow light showing ) pulled all fuses in box behind battery one -by -one and replaced , eureka ,glow light and start no problem
only got replacement matrix to finish off -- was still leaking after fitting , TEMP bypass (3" 22 mm pipe with hoseclips )while doing the matrix job with silicone sealant while tightening up screw , acid test when refitting engine bay hoses on matrix then refit center console and glove box fingers crossed
Replacement !

I believe it's next to the driver's knee fusebox. Remove that plastic trim panel, it's white and sort of rectangular...

It's not OBD compliant by the way, I believe PP2000/Lexia are the only things that can talk to it.
