After firing up the diseasel last night, I disconnected the battery to put it back on the charger and 5+ mins later noticed a very quiet (probably inaudible if not for the fact there's very little background noise in the garage with the doors shut) buzzing from the back of the engine. There's no alarm on this thing so I was stumped as to what could be making a noise on a car with no electricity.
I had a little brainwave and tapped the brake pedal once with my hand. The buzzing stopped, so it was obviously the vacuum line.
Is this normal or should I be very worried?

<steve_earwig> I think this forum is more about keeping our cars going with minimal outlay than giving our cars more reason to go bang

Mine did that when I disconnected the battery to swap my seats over.

Mine makes a funny little squeek after shut down, pulling the EGR vac line off releases the vac and it stops.
