Galetto 1260 help

Hi, does anyone know if the galetto 1260 supports the 3.0 v6 coupe, I cant see my car in the drop down list of ecu types and I want to back up my ecu, or is there any other way of reading from the ecu. Any help would be much appreciated.

Why'd you want to muck about wi an ecu of a 3ltr v6?I mean whats the point in backing it up?

You can remap the V6's ECU, potentially giving you another 15 - 20 HP. Not a stellar performance boost, but it's certainly do-able. Backing up the ECU before attempting a remap isn't just a good idea, it's foolhardy not to.

I see what you mean - I couldn't find any reference to any petrol engine over 2.0 either. I suspect there's no real reason why the Galleto won't do it, just that the Italian language ripoff software doesn't seem to cover it. No doubt if you bought a genuine Galletto, it would or there would be a free update.

If you know which ecu your v6 uses, try googling it + galletto

Do you get firmware updates etc wi galletto? Im off to have a look now
