2.2 anti pollution idle mode

have a 2.2 hdi 02 estate keeps going into idle mode with meesage anti polution device defective.need help as havent got a clue.can ecu be reset or re maped.thanks pau

Hi best bet to be wud be to smash the particulate filter out n come visit me for a remap ;)

U could have a vaccine leak in your electrovalves or a split pipe

just had a good look at it again today-them pug ecu's ar sensitive beasts!! turned out that the intercooler pipe was very slightly not replaced right. reconnected it at intercooler end and all is well. feel a bit stupid

now but hopefully this is of some help to someone else out there...
