Estate/Saloon springs......Are they the same?

Just a quick question....................

Are the rear springs the same on the D8 saloon and estate. Not had a chance to look yet.

Hi

They have different part numbers (estate : 5102E4, saloon : 5102C4 for "most" and 5102C5 for V6, 2.0t and 2.1td)
But they both have the same part numbers on the upper cup (516527) and the lower spring support (516433).
The springs might be different but would fit I guess. Tell us if you get the chance to compare springs.

I imagine the estate springs are designed to support a fair bit more weight...
