I'm going through the process of fitting cruise to my 90 hdi estate and I'm completing my shopping list, I have found a lower steering wheel cowl and cruise stalk for a 406 coupe, does anyone know if this will fit a hdi estate?

I think someone, somewhere, is hoarding 406's ready for the apocalypse. All BMW's and VAG's will vapourise leaving a stinking pile of DPF's and old court cases and out of the ashes a familiar "clank" will be heard as a 406 door closes in the distance...a squeak will ring out as the engine fires and...

That sounds pretty spot on because my donor 406 is a 2001 model and it does have the correct loom, so annoying because I could retrofit it to that one but the car is too far gone to put back on the road and it would never be as good as my current one.

Definitely agree about the charm of an older vehicle, I love parking my 406 in a car park and looking around to make sure I have the oldest car there, 99% of the time I do.

Not car related I know but I have one spare ticket for the amazing classic rock show at the Octagon theatre, Yeovil on the 29th of January. As title, I fancy having the proper diagnostic kit if anyone has one to sell, don't really need it for the 406 as nothing goes wrong with it, but it could be handy for the 206's in the family.
