Re: Peugeot 206 GLX issue

Ya i only brought it home last night and gave it a quick spin. Needs new spark plugs etc, not too pleasurable to drive.

I'll get a chance to give it a good look over tonight.

Hoping to make a bit of cash on it on the other side and have something to do on a saturday morning 8) I have an issue with the radio/display and CD changer. Re: 607 - when french electrics strike

Yep but you have a l/h/d. In most r/h/d pugs they dont move the bonnet release from that location!

Re: 607 - when french electrics strike

Yep two batterys in the 607. Who knew? Thats common in french cars. Some examples are the wipers in the 206 and the handbrake lever in the 407. Doesnt make sense. Oh and just about every french cars location of the bonnet release. Except the 406 which is totally customised for RHD (I think)

Re: 607 - when french electrics strike

Ok, I have worked on 607's before and would you believe they arent as bad with electrics as you may think. You just need to know what to look for. I think this problem may be solved quite easily before you go ripping wires or your hair out. In the boot there is a secondary battery that controls all ...

Re: New Phone

Well, if he saw out the duration of the contract then the network are obliged to unlock the phone. If he only bought the phone recently and sold it on then there is no point in doing anything. Jailbreaking or else moving network will be the only options.

Re: New Phone

You could find out the previous owner and get them to call the carrier to get it approved by apple for unlocking, then when you plug it into iTunes and restore it, it should be unlocked. iPhones are the future, I'll never look back. In March 2010, it had to take an iPhone for me to get rid of my bel...

Re: Notice something strange??

I agree 100%

The only ideal ways to get to work are cycling walking or train. Bus's are a joke and an ideal commute will take less than 30 minutes.

My dads 607 had its NCT (MOT) this morning, passed no bother. My mate said that that car doesnt need a test, it gave the NCT centre a "607" test!

Re: What do you hate about the car?

Ya, top end acceleration from 60 seems pretty good in the petrols too. The HDi is a wizard in 3rd though!!
