well i got the car back. the 150,000 mile old shoe fell off in the drum. The best case scenario really. well its drums all the way for me from now on. Discs look cooler tho......................i see i raised some eyebrows with my bold statement about how the d8 is a bit dated and unstylish. sorry :...

Well I joined servicebox, but due to the fact that the machine is 20 miles away being fixed, I cant get to the vin number. Anyways, thanks steve I'll stick to the ugly drums for now as a result of your advice on all the stuff that has to be changed. IMO, the 406 is a big car and should never have be...
