Best bet is to search 'Lexia 3' on eBay, should come with PP2000 and/or diagbox software, (ideally both).
Typical price nowadays £60 or a little less

Re: Help virginising BSI
Can't help you resolve the issue, but the behaviour as I understand it that if there is a difference between the total mileage stored in the clocks and the BSI, it helpfully adds them together. French logic: If they don't match the dealer is replacing a faulty instrument binacle with a new one which...

Now that is different.
My first thought was a very attractive car from a bygone age that somebody's vandalised.
Agree it looks kinda right while being wrong, or something.

Re: Semi mux to full mix conversion
I would expect there to be big differences in the wiring looms. For example there are only a few connections and the data bus to a comm2000 versus the individual wiring for all the stalks on earlier cars. Engine loom will differ too e.g. 1 coolant temp sensor vs 3 and so on.

Re: Central locking help required
We had to replace the passenger side front lock on a 406 exec estate my bro used to have. I can't remember all the details but do recall being seriously confused for a spell. We were convinced the drivers side was at fault but discovered the hard way it was the passenger side, (swapping the drivers ...
