Re: Bosch pump jammed
Unfortunately I think the pump needs to come off and be stripped/cleaned. If your cranking the engine and there is no suction then the internal vain pump is probably seized.

Long shot but.....
Does anyone have a new 2.1 Aux tensioner for sale or can recommend the cheapest place to purchase one? ECP are roughly £60 and in stock which is good as I can collect it on the bus (car is now disabled due to a shredded aux belt)
Cheers :-)
Cheers :-)

Happy to paint it but anything else goes to the landlord.Welly wrote:I hadn't thought about the effect of renting a property, after coughing up so much rent you're unlikely to want to paint the place

Re: B&Q closing 60 stores
I can / would decorate etc a lot more but I'm in a rented property with no plans to buy. I do use B&Q, Screwfix, tool station etc.... For other 'things' that I'm tinkering with. I've always found B&Q overpriced and staff unhelpful. I also like to look at things to mentally plan the job. Screwfix and...

Re: Recirculating flap wiring
Do you know where the A/C Ecu is? Yes it has a plug but I can be a bit ham fisted I don't mind the A/C not working but I use the A/C switch to bring the fans on when the engine gets warm. I do intend to fix it but can't at min so as long as its safe I'm happy.

Recirculating flap wiring
Hi all, due to a clicking noise I have found that the recirculating flap is up the gunger. Plan was to make sure its open and disconnect the bugger. That all went great until I managed to pull the plug off the loom and watch the wires dissapear into the depths of the dash. My worry is that the bare ...

Re: Best way to paint Brake Disc hubs?
Cover the whole disk in masking tape then cut the edges/parts to be sprayed off with a knife. They usually have an oily layer so clean first. VHT paint or BBQ paint should work...

Re: 2.0 HDi 110 - Removing intake manifold
Not done it on a 406 but the upper inlet bolts are covered by the exhaust Mani. I would remove the exhaust Mani studs by double nutting them, let the exhaust / turbo etc... Drop a bit to expose the nuts then you ' should' be able to remove it. You will need a new gasket as its the paper type.
