Re: Turbo dismount
I think there are at least 2 types of valves - 1628.HC and 1628.CH. Don't know what is the difference but the price was different.

Re: Turbo dismount
Have you eliminated the possibility of an external problem, (vacuum leak etc.) preventing the turbo from adjusting? From older diagnostic I know that electrovalve 1628.HC probably is in bad condition. Don't know what exactly is its role and whether there is only one 1628.HC or they are two. At that...

Re: Turbo dismount
It seems the geometry of my turbocharger is not moving and for that reason I have to dismount it. But I am afraid that the problem can be different and such complex operation can be waste of time (money).

Re: Turbo dismount
Is this 4.5-8-9 hours for dismount + remount or only for dismounting?

Re: Turbo dismount
Maybe there is some "how to" video at Youtube or Autodoc?

Turbo dismount
Is there easy way to dismount turbo of HDI 2.2? Two mechanics told me that it is too hard on that model. Maybe there is a trick which is not obvious.

Re: Switch next to diagnostic port
Why? I use it every day even for 500m of constant speed.

Parktronic
Is there genuine parktronic on 406? AFAIK, it does not exist but I am asking to be sure. It would be good if parktronic indication is on display and car sound output.

Re: Silent fan
Try blowing it out with a straw or similar I did exactly this and fan started to whirr. Was very silent before. I have 3 spare of the same type (fan+sensor) and all are noisy. Decided to clean the sensor on the working one because of visible dust and this was my mistake. Now all are noisy. Maybe WD...

Silent fan
Is there a way to make temperature sensor fan (near the lamp) work silently. Now it has irritating noise.

Re: A/C fan speeds up from time to time
I am nearly sure what is the problem in this old case. It is sensor #2 (6445.JA). Now the question is now to access it. It is partially visible when CD audio is removed but it is too low. Is there a way to catch it without complex dismount?

Re: A/C fan speeds up from time to time
Old topic, still actual for me. Is there a scheme for paths of cables? I want to know the cable for temp sensor near lamp.

Re: Seat airbag cables
What can be the reason for black insulating bands? They look like intervention. I will compare the direction of cables with new seat but one bad explanation for my seat is that airbag is not working (exploded) and with cable manipulation the car thinks it is ok. Only a hypothesis.

Re: Seat airbag cables
This is a photo of cables under my seat. Some connectors look suspicions with black tape. I worry that there is some modification and if I install new seat with normal airbag/connectors I can get "airbag" lamp on dashboard. Is there normal explanation for black tapes?
