That is a real scam, it is literally nothing but a spinny thing that sits in the intake and spins from the airflow. There's nothing driving it, no belt or turbine in the exhaust.

Typical German over-engineering solution to a basic problem. Looking an Insignia estate with the hatch closed, there is absolutely no reason why most of the lights couldn't be on the body instead of on the hatch. Only the "normal" 508s have MacPherson struts in the front. The posh GT model gets double wishbones. Probably the RXH as well.

In the UK we're 'allowed' to run tyres down to 1.6mm. Imagine your average motorist rounding a long, wet, bend too fast which tightens quickly with worn rear tyres; as soon as they lift off the gas the rear will go light and could oversteer.....left alone or not corrected properly the car will spin...
