If it's to loud how about a audio matches, takes speaker level output down to line level, that should work and don't cost much, used a lot in ice installs.

Would a wiper stalk out of an early D9 fit and work ok in a D8?

Ah ok, yes it comes with all the leads ect, not sure about the firmware or the iphone 3gs as I have a android phone but it worked fine with that so I can't see it being a problem but can't say for sure.

I had a ck300 and have changed to a ck3100, fair better and you can upgrade the firmware via bluetooth unlike the CK3000 which you have to buy a data lead for. Also the sound quality is better, but if you are looking for a ck3000 I have one for sale

Yeah has to have a supply to it which is there, when its turned off its the same that's what makes me think its faulty and if yours is ok off that confirms it for me.
