Well, the '9's with Pug in ZG. I explained the noise, showing the mechanic a picture of the crank pulley I pulled off this very site but they were amazed I wanted it all changed on a 3 year old car with only 87,000km on the clock. I explained that I had no idea of the history of the car and I just w...

Lemon/Pug 16 valve Reading that I feel a bit silly for not doing anything to mine (apart from caning their arses off of course). They were mint tho. My g/f only just got used to my D8, after 2 years of going to any blue estate in the car park. Then the first time I pulled up in the '9 she walked st...

Just looking at Haynes, it looks straight forward, if a little involved. It includes lowering the front subframe for clearance. At least it doesn't start with "Remove the engine" like the 2.1...

The one on the side is probably for a low oil level light (had them on the BXs) edit or a temperature sender. As these things are generic across the group, it's probably the same sump with just a bung in it. Good luck with the plug! I seem to remember seeing some garages use a pump to empty sumps vi...

no water at all came out when i changed the sensor.... maybe that could be it? could it be air locked etc? hense the erratic temp? I'd imagine that'd give you all sorts of problems, although the question is why - did the previous owner leave it like that for you or is there a leak? Try bleeding the...

I looked into that for here, if I've owned the car for three years or more there's no problem (apart from stacks of beaurocracy of course). If I haven't I'd have to pay import tax on their estimated value of the car (used cars here are at least twice as expensive as in the uk), and then the usual ta...
