Is the blower motor also not running when the engine is running?

The blower motor can only run if the engine is running, to prevent the battery from depleting quickly.

You might have swapped the permanent +12Volt line with the switched +12Volt line. Looking at the pinout diagram, the ISO connector (8 pins) "A" (outer black one): - A 6 = +12V IGN Power (Switched via Ignition key) - A 7 = +12V Main Power (Permanent) Pin A 7 is closest to the fuse. I have two other hypotheses to offer:
