This used to be an issue on cars with carbs, as the petrol sometimes evaporated in the heat and would take a while to restart, but not sure about injected cars.
I was thinking immobiliser too, maybe put a shield or something over the steering wheel / ignition barrel?

Hi CJ, I would definitely recommend getting some quote to have it done properly. Maybe you could do the donkey work rubbing down etc to keep costs down but there are a few ' cosmetic touch-up ' places springing up all the time. Yes I have the rad complete with fan.

Never really agreed on price for the turbo as I am not sure if I have the skills/tools to remove it. Have you got a price in mind if I succeed in removing it?
