Re: EDITECU - 10% discount on remaps of all kinds
Yeh that's the one Good, you should be able to do that with a Galletto1260 or a KWP2000+, which are very cheap. But before spending any money Please check your ECU is a bosch EDC15 first. to do so open the ECU box and look for some numbers or writings. If you do not find it send me a picture of you...

Re: EDITECU - 10% discount on remaps of all kinds
That looks pretty useful  Looks a bit like one of the coupe super tractor s with the 180 map, defap, and EGR and air dosers removed that I had a ride in. They reckon they'll keep up with the V6s. I presume yours is a custom map, right? Have you got power/torque measurements for it? Not yet...

Re: EDITECU - 10% discount on remaps of all kinds
I can at last show you a video of one of our extreme tuned 406s. The video is recorded on track. Speed is in km/h , 100km/h=62mph; 110km/h=70mph etc. The car pushes like hell well above 3500 rpms. The car has 165k miles and runs perfecly. 0-62mph is ~7.5 seconds, 7 seconds is possible with better ge...

Re: FS: 406 v6 coupe SE bright red [pics]
All of those are common problems easy to fix, even the heater powering on max it's just a heater part that has to be changed, not very cheap but not that expensive either I seem to recall. Shame about the steering wheel but that too can be changed for a good one from Ade.

Re: EDITECU - 10% discount on remaps of all kinds
Usually it suffices to lift the ECU box cover and read some numbers, if you don't find it then put up a picture of the ECU and the numbers and I'll be able to tell you. Mmmm, the ECU is inside (or part of) the airbox - filtered air is wooshed over the ECU's heat sinks  uncovering this electri...

Steve that recycling place is too far away - the petrol cost would be prohibitive  I don't know what my ECU is - I shall find out! Good! Re: EDITECU - 10% discount on remaps of all kinds
Can you write a map for my Volvo? It's a 2500cc Petrol Turbo (T5) (2005 model) Sure, you can get a good power increase on that engine. More or less + 30hp and +70Nm. But you have to be able to flash it yourself, for this you need a flasher. Alternatively you can ship us the ECU. The T5 can have mor...

Re: My new mowtah
Grippier that the 6 by a long margin, but I can't really say how it "handles" until I get near the limit of that grip... Interesting, the 6 has always been known to be a very good ride and good handling. If the Volvo is better then you have a fun car there. Of course the handling standard for the m...

Re: My new mowtah
Does it handle as good as a proper '6? Sorry Odin, missed that  I can't really answer that question yet though, it grips like it's on rails and I'm still getting used to it, but haven't been anywhere near the limit yet. Corners well, good feel and weight through the steering wheel, excellent ...

Re: My new mowtah
Lovely motor! 8) Wouldn't mind one myself. I have to admit the inside looks fabulous, and must be very comfy. I don't dig the wheels tho, too big for my taste as will be a huge expense when changing tyres. The engine is a Pug unit yes, a well known one for bad things actually, looks like they have s...
