Thanks for the welcome :) I used to have one of those that plug into the 12volt socket/fag lighter, the down side is that some cars do not have a 12volt/fag lighter socket, and some of the sockets have unreliable connections or don't work, for whatever reason. The most important precaution to take when replacing the battery, is to keep the electrical system alive whilst the old battery is removed. This should be done whatever the vehicle. I use two wires with crocodile clips and an old spare battery, connect the clips to the battery terminals on the car, ...
