Re: When did people become so rude?
I too used to get a little upset at other motorists giving me hand gestures when they are in the wrong, but I have had a driving job now for over 15 years, so now I just think ' just another knob ' and carry on with my day. I will not let some arse spoil my day, I just forget about it - its not wort...

Re: rear fog light
HI, I have 2 reverse and 2 fogs ( one each side )
Fogs are the bulbs nearest the number plate on the tailgate, the reverse are obviously the clear ones.....

Re: I never expected this!
Hello Eddy, welcome to the forum. I too bought my Red 406 estate as it was a bargain stop-gap - kept it for 3 years and only replaced it with a slightly newer and higher spec 406..!! You will find - like me - that this forum has the answer to pretty much any question you may have regarding your car,...

They say 'honesty is the best policy', sometimes it is better just to bend the truth slightly.
Saying that, this makes my old 406 look quite good!!

Re: A Volvo Question
I too was tempted by a Volvo. When I had my 90, I was looking for something with a bit more ooomph and was watching T5Rs on eBay. Nearly bought a lovely Olive Green TWR model, but owner said he was lucky enough to get up to 25mpg if he drove it carefully...!!! Still very tempted as they are beautifu...

Re: how bigs my tank
I did once put £95 in my tank - then noticed it pouring out over the floor when I came back from paying, a heart-sinking feeling.
Just stick to £50 or £60 a time now...... Must be a hole somewhere, will look when I can get the car high enough.

Re: New one on me
Sunny today, but hidden by all the rain clouds.... don't get much snow in Bournemouth. Must say its nice to leave the house at 6:15 in the morning and it being nearly daylight. Pugs starting to struggle starting, probably just me draining the battery - also ruddy autolights were coming on at start-u...

Re: Build code and Paint code
Pretty sure its fact..!!
I went to a local paint supplier to get touched up ( ooer ) and they could only find KMW, not KMWC. Its a match, badly sprayed on by me though.

Re: nice car
So it made £2567 - anyone know of it's a genuine sale? Will we be hearing from the new owner?? Isn't that a bit OTT? I know it's an exec but really? 2.5k? Did I mention I got my 2004 2.2hdi Executive for £700..?? Probably cos it was a pile of sh1te, cost another £500 to sort it out!! Still quite ch...

Re: Fitting aftermarket stereo question.......
I fitted a JVC to my 406 with a fascia adapter ( around £10 ) and it worked fine. The only issue was that when I used the remote key to open the door, the stereo came on....?? It never remembered the stations or bass/treble levels either, so I found a standard CD player on ebay instead - although it...
