It sold - you can see it in the sold listings. Regards, Geoff.PeterN wrote:First saw it yesterday about 9.30am, 04 estate, very nice condition but over 200k miles which wouldn't have bothered me, I looked for it again about 20 minutes later and it had gone, listed at £550.

Re: leather seats
Has anyone ever tried fitting electric leather seats till a td non leather manual seat 406 ? Yes, there's a host of information on here - just use the search facility. There is how to do stuff in the knowledge base that goes through step by step bypassing drivers seat ecu - passengers seat is strai...

Re: Wanted..406 Estate seats
Hi Geoff - keep the electric seat switch from your drivers cloth seat, and use this to bypass your memory ECU. Its a straight fit but you just need to reverse the polarity - as when you move the seat button forwards, it will go backwards. Did you get all the lower black dash stuff too, including th...

Re: Wanted..406 Estate seats
Well everything comes to he who waits! Had a great day out stripping an Exec estate same year and colour of mine, went home with a full black leather interior and a load more goodies to keep me busy for a while. Have now got all the seats and door cards swapped over and all the dash trim changed, ev...

Re: Courtesy light PROBLEM
Hi Buddy, methinks you need to have ignition switched on for maplight and manual switch. Regards Geoff. i tried as you said. but still it's same :( That's deffo how they are controlled so it looks like you have no ignition controlled feed to the switch. Could you have disturbed the connection when ...

Re: Front Fog Replacement
Hi Geoff, glad my advice from over 2 years ago was useful. I no longer have a 406, as I now have a T4 as a family vehicle - not a patch on the 406 but it's more suitable for our needs. If your fogs are not damaged, you can clean the inside of the glass out and sell them on - may get a bit of money ...

Re: Front Fog Replacement
Yes, it is a pig. When I did mine to clean the insides out, I kinda sat upright with both legs under the car, while reaching under/behind with the right hand on a decent length screwdriver with a torx bit, and the left hand 'fingering' for the bolt. It is possible, it took about 30 mins to do one f...

Yes but they are very few and far between with most being in poor condition. Looks like I'll have to play the waiting game.PeterN wrote:Have you had a look on ebay for a scrapper?

Would 407 seats fit a 406?...
I'm looking for a set of leather seats for my 406 but there doesn't seem to be many around. I wondered if the 407 seats would fit or could be modded,as they seem to be more available. For example might the leather and cushioning be fitted onto my seat frames? Best regards, Geoff.
