Should there be play here or is something worn out?

Rear axle arb end plate play
I have play in one of the arb end plates with the axle off the car. I have never worked on a rear axle before but the axle was refurbished a couple of years ago with new bushes and bearings apparently but found some play here:

snapped wiring near fan on 206 Hdi
Found this while looking through the grille today, can't see where it is meant to go but I'm guessing it has something to do with the fan. It is 2 black wires in a black sleeve.

Re: Headlights coming on and intermittent fob
Ahhh interesting
I just done another scan and have found a fault on the comms unit at last!
Switch module at the steering wheel
Permanent fault. Lighting control not coherent
Guess I will be needing a new comms unit after all

Re: Headlights coming on and intermittent fob
Is the comms unit connected to central locking in any way? As both faults are intermittent but they always show at the same time. If I go out to the car and the key wont work to unlock doors, I know the lights will malfunction too once I turn key to ignition on Its a pain in the ars3 lol I can only ...

Headlights coming on and intermittent fob
My headlight have been coming on by themselves since last winter. The fault dissapeared for months but seems to be back with the cold weather. Auto headlights are turned off. Also have an intermittant key fob that wont unlock the car if I have been away from the car for a while but will work fine if...

Re: 185/60/15 instead of 195/55/15?
Yeh im looking for comfort really
the 195/55/15 tyres I put on 2 years ago were an improvement on the 195/50/15 that were on the car beforehand. Think I'll order myself some 185/60/15s
Cheers for your help guys

185/60/15 instead of 195/55/15?
Looking to replace all 4 tyres soon on the 206, I was thinking 185/60/15 might give more comfort and slightly less road noise but will these fit on my alloys?

Re: Any Peugeot mechanics on here?
The play was in the hub bearing assembly, cured it with a couple of custom made steel washers which sit behind the inner race to cv joint. http://tapatalk.imageshack.com/v2/14/11/30/01acfe524f03ee2c614dd538593bf007.jpg Found this article and thought it was worth a try [emoji106] http://www.bargains...
