Multi function display
Hello all
My MFD is now unreadable, so I am looking to 'downgrade' my satnav multi function display to the non sat nav version - i understand this is plug abd play and doesn't have the problems the sat nav version has.
Does anyone have one for sale?
Thanks
Richard

Re: 406 2.0 HDI 110 2004 NON-STARTER AND CUTS OUT
this sounds like a similar issue to a saga i experienced with my 406 - it would sometimes start and tick over then not start at all - in the end it turned out to be the BSI (body control unit) mine my changed with one from a breakers and has been fine ever since
Good luck

I couldn't see how to get inside the stalk so put everything back...

Thanks Steve
I have looked in the footwell and all the wiring and connectors is clean and dry. I might try the relay/fuse board

Re: Possible BSi/ecu fault
Have you got a reasonable cranking speed? - ecu needs to 'see' 60RPM before it will trigger the injectors. Yes, new battery and starter replaced recently with one from breakers When you look at 'ecu condition' via PP2k, does it say 'unlocked'? Will check this one in an hour or so - just charging my...
