Re: Proposed mot revisions
A new rule already brought in states that any warning lights, indicator lights or any light on the dashboard that are on when they shouldn't be is an instant fail. If the car has an MFD, any error message called up are also an instant fail. So for us 406 owners, the error "Low brake fluid level" cau...

Nivek is AWOL from the Coupé forum too. He has studies that require is full attention. He'll likely resurface at some point.

Shiney :)
My friend phoned me on Saturday morning. His in-laws were out for the day leaving their ample driveway and garage filled with car cleaning kit free to use. So, I rushed over and proceeded to give my Coupé her first intensive wash, clay, polish and wax since last October 2011! I used a Simoniz hand w...

Re: Nothing is built to last any more
Everything is pretty much prefab these days, little is built on site after the frame and bricks are up. That's the issue here. There is a lot of development going on in my area, houses and blocks of flats going up at alarming rates. Look big on the outside, seem small on the inside. Doors, windows, ...

Wow.
If this thing doesn't look like it just rolled out of the factory when you're done, I'll be disappointed!

Anywhere that gets a concensus.
Knockhill is good, but pricey and far too full of neds with their shitty corsas, fiestas, paxos, etc.

Re: Boot Badge
I plan to go on a scavenge at the local scrap yard this weekend... always keep an eye out on boot badges. Will post in the sale thread if I find anything. Always sell at cost price only.

Re: My hypermiling days are over
I do just over 50 miles a day in the commute. a little over 25 each way. No chance of "me" time as I car share. Well, I always drive with my car so they are just passengers. On the way home it's good to unwind and chat. But sometimes I'd rather be in silence with my thoughts.

I will never diss Ford again. My Brother just turned up with his hire car for a weekend trip. A 4 month old Ford Mondea 2.0 TDCI Titanium. This thing was like the starship f*cking enterprise on wheels. Cruise, speed limiter, dual climate control, all the bells and whistles. Gorgeous dashboard with a...
