Acceleration pedal on the FLOOR - what's going on?

** Please feel free to move the post if I've posted in the wrong area.. I'm clueless, lol) My poor babe has been having a ''ABS FAULT'' flash up for a week or so now. Today, got to the end of my road and all of a sudden I lost my acceleration pedal. You can lift it back up but it doesn't stay up, if...

Re: My Car Has Died :-(

Sorry to hear that! Such a shame! We've had a few gaskets gone on ours so that's what I was going to say happened too! As for the comment about them not costing too much, well £1,500 is a lot to us and in most cases than not, it is cheaper to get another car. Obviously if you've spent hundreds in ad...

Does anyone have a flat bed trailer in Gloucestershire?

Hi everyone! Hope you don't mind me posting this here, I am wondering if there is a kind soul with a flat bed, car transporter trailer here willing to lend it me for a day, in Gloucestershire! My car currently is in Southampton and untaxed. My plan was to get insurance Tuesday and get buses / trains...

Re: Bought my 406 yesterday!

I needed a 7 seater (5 children now!) and with the 806's we had I couldn't lean over easily to clip the kids in, and the 406's are rear facing and access is a lot better, plus have always fancied the 406's ;) Believe it or not, they're also more comfortable from a passenger's point of view too. Re: type d8 or d9

Hi Wilko, No, you're not thick - this is all confusing to those who have only recently got a 406 (like myself). Yours is a D8, which is another way of saying it's a Mk.1 model. Yours will have a slatted grill on the front, on either side of the heraldic lion badge. These were produced up until 1999...
