as I've also suffered this fate, I did try to remove the bolt but it may be coroded, where is it underneath ? easy to get to ?

seat belt stuck 406 estate

middle rear seatbelt has stuck fully tight against the seat back and I can't move it. basically the inertia seems to have locked up but I can't free it or pull it away from the backrest. is there some way to release the inertia system and free up the belt ? or do I have to take the backrest apart to...

carrying long load

anyone tell me if i can/need to remove seats to carry an RSJ thats 11ft long in my 2002 estate ?
do I need to remove front seat or can this be laid flat ?
do I need to take them all out on passenger side ? if so, is it easy job ?

RSJ are nearer for me and do have a lot of trade customers, they also do Seeley tools. anyway, they don't do the pins and their ebay site only sells tools it seems, but worth a try as the shop's full of spares

cheers for that, think they have a place in Bilston. first though I've got to get those bloody clips out which means turning the pins somehow

well I was thinking if I removed one of the caliper bolts, I could swing it enough to get mole grips on the pin and turn it, then replace bolt and do same other end.
So, is this one of those moments when I say, doesn't anybody do stainless pins ?
there could be a market eh. :lol:

ok, so I thought may need new pads in rear, took wheels off and pads fine, handbrake not but couldn't get the pins out of the calipers. is there a knack ? some kind person has turned the pins so you can't pull the clips out ! nice ! anyway, bought new disks and shoes, so all ready to replace just wo...

well, it wasn't working on my 02 plate HDI so I replaced it, still doesn't work. Have tried wiggling it about but nothing. any known common faults to look for ?

did 50 mile run today on A roads and got 46mpg doing 50 to 60 mph, first 5 miles anywhere I get around 30mpg in town, also Wolves has more traffic lights per sq mile than anywhere else in the country, av speed tends to be 11mph in town. I'm happy enough with it just wondered how some folk get such g...

the faults all occured before I changed the battery so you may have a point. too clever by far these Pugs eh. thanks for the tip all I need to do now is find a way of fixing the remote function and sort the radio out. apart from that I'm well pleased with the car. any ideas on fuel consuption ? norm...

well, that's what it said on the display when I got in the other day, so where did that come from ? all I've done lately is change the battery so had to re-set the time etc. Just to add to this, I've had a couple of fault codes come up on odd occasions one said ECU Fault and beeped, then just disape...
