gave the lock a real good soaking in WD40 and guess what works again, don't know how long for though, but thanks to all for the help and All the best at Christmas and New Year

plip has never worked in over 12 months, inside key fob is knackered, have used key to lock and unlock

tried that but made no difference. I cant afford to take it to dealers and I'm a bit worried about leaving it unlocked all the time

Tried befor but no luck, I am looking for a rear wiper motor for a 1999 406 executive estate 2.0 petrol its the one without the blue resistor. I have tried all the usul stripping old one down, cleaning etc but still wont work, power is getting to it but just wont operate
