Re: Dismantle blower motor
Sorry no pictures as where it's difficult to get one worth posting. It's the connector that's actually on the motor. There must be a way in because you can buy the brushes to replace them.

Re: Dismantle blower motor
It's not that I'm ungrateful for the help or trying to be awkward, but the motor is out and in my garage. As stated in the original post I need to take it apart.

Re: Dismantle blower motor
Three screws to get the motor out, but how do you get into the motor. It only takes 0.3Amp to kill you but I never said 12V was enough to push it through!

Dismantle blower motor
Hi everyone. I need to get my blower motor apart. The connector on it has started to melt and the terminal is now loose and I'd like to secure it if I can. So, could anyone tell me how to get my heater blower motor apart. I know you can change the brushes so there must be a way to do it. There is th...

No start
Strange one this. Everything was OK until I replaced the rear right wheel. Now the engine just wont start. It did come of the trolley jack with a bit of a bump so was wandering if there's anything at the back which may have inhibited the fuel. The crash switch in the engine bay hasn't tripped. The o...

Re: now im really fed up!!!
Hi, The hand book says to synch' the remote when the battery is changed to re-programme the fob. You haven't said if you tried this so just incase this is how the handbook says to do it. 1 Press button A (the big one on the fob, some fobs have two buttons) until the light stops flashing. 2 Release t...

Re: Fuse Size For Heated Seats
OK, sorry I understand now. I would normally say just run a new cable in with an in-line fuse. You could still do this by spliceing it into the one coming off the ECU. However if the current draw is significantly high you don't know what damage you could do to the ECU (don't know why pug involved th...

Re: Rear Cigarette Lighter
The wiring of any circuit is of a diameter to carry the current the circuit is designed to draw and only a little more. Example, Indicators draw only a small amount of current so the cableing will normally be about 22awg. Your starter motor will draw one hell of a lot more. Try using 22awg on that a...

Re: Fuse Size For Heated Seats
Measure 1 and multiply by 5? why not just replace with the same size as is fitted (presumably blown) as long as it's the correct rating.

Re: Rear Cigarette Lighter
Just read this thread for the first time. Don't even think about putting in a higher rating fuse in. To do it safely you have to uprate the circuit wiring to match the new fuse.

Wiring Diagramme
Been looking for a while and found a few wiring diagrammes but to be honest they're all rubbish, even worse than Haynes. Anybody know of any that are usable?
