I have a 406 2.0 petrol 1999 mk2 - I've now got a haynes manual and it unnecessarily says the wipers need to be repositioned before the splash guird can be removed which is wrong. I have done it now. I've also got the throttle inlet off. It was help be a large screwclip which was somewhat inaccessib...

done the splash guard, helps that its a warm day and its a bit flexible.
still awaiting my ordered haynes from amazon so if you can assist with that throttle inlet cover it would be great, ta

Thanks for the info - i'm fine with soldering, it's getting the mirror glass off without breaking it that i'm having a problem with - any tips?

406 2.0 v16 mk2 1999 My outside temp reads 46 degrees c and my aircon doesn't work - just got the car so i'm not sure if teh two are related.. I read that the outside temp disconnects the aircon when temp below freezing so I am assuming that it's not the cause of my aircon working and it's worth try...

Thanks for the reply - the splash guard seems a bit tricky to lever off the lugs at the front (obviously designed to break when touched). When you say 'start on the side nearest to you', do you mean passengers side? Sorry should have said I have a 2.0 16v inj. The bit I am referring to is the plasti...

Hi having some trouble removing some plastic bits. Need some help to remove splash guard so I can access my cabin filter.
