Hi Thank you for the reply .The bottom engine mount is ok as it was replaced quite recently .Also the hose is well clear of any brackets .The pipe went when i was on the motorway and oil mist had spread under the car which is why i was suspecting that the turbo oil seals maybe worn as engine oil wil...

Hi Does anyone know where i can purchase two front brake caliper carriers for a Peugeot 406 2.0 hdi .The brakes are Lucas and the holes where the guide pins go are worn resulting in the caliper sitting at a slight angle.I have tried new pins and is still the same.I have enquired at Peugeot Dealer bu...

2.0hdi 110 gearbox removal
This topic appears on here quite a lot .Can anyone tell me if it possible to remove the gearbox out of a peugeot 406 2.0 hdi 110 without dropping the subframe totally down .Is there an easier way of doing it as it looks quite tight for room

Hi I have got a 1999 406 2.0l hdi 110.I was in traffic yesterday on the motorway which was stop start for over an hour :evil: .While i was in traffic a warning came on the mfd "engine temp too high".I stopped and looked around engine checking for leaks, etc non visible .I have never had this warning...

Hi It is an engine breather if it was me i would take the rubber tube off where the breather goes in as it looks like it is blocked and give it a good clean out also it looks like a piece has broken off the bottom of the breather most probably still in the pipe

Hi what iam trying to say is that is it possible to enable a trip function in the bsi on my car a 1999 406 2.0 hdi.The wiring plug that goes to the wiper switch has got a wire missing which i have discovered goes to the trip switch on the end of the wiper stalk so it is obviously needed for somethin...
