my v reg 90 hdi has rear drums. ive replace the shoes, ajusters, springs and cables. when i first did it the hand brake held well on about 4 to 5 clicks then after about a month it was pointing to the roof again re ajusted it and again after a month its back pointing to the roof again. anyone got an...

on the hdi engines the gear change is cable operated abit like brake cables on a bike with age they start to fray making gear changes stiff and in time they snap then you carnt get any gears

my main dealer said i had to buy new bumper strips as clips come as a complete set one of the lads gave me a hand full and he said they order them in packs of 100 for coppers i try stear clear of main dealer

just replace my rear bushes and rear track arms got a 4 wheel laser alignment done and the back end seems to give up easy on roundabouts always comes back ok have 3 good tyre need a new one just had a blow out tonite

dont know about on a pug but my dad got a cheap one off his mate for his rover 214 si
i fitted it and the car had loads better low down response but he said it drank the petrol. hand a nice rasp to it but not load like some of them.

my senny is 100% solid, but some little toerag took it for a test drive and took all door handles out, so going to plate them and put remote openers on it been to machine mart to day was looking at a clarke 115 £64 inc vat bloke told me best seller for automotive been a while since i did any welding...

I was thinking (dangerous) of getting a welder and doing it myself as my senator has a spot of welding needed. but i might give them a call to see what they say

had the same prob with mine hit it with a hammer never did it again loacal dealer (R H) told me £280 for a new stalk

i seen the young lad let the car down off the jack and the round plate off the jack was stuck under the sill he pulled it off i had my 2 year od daughter screaming blue murder in my arms and was in a rush to get my 10 year old from school and i didnt think anything of it at the time. only noticed it...

you also got to think of age of car colour fade ect. try painting it leave week or two then colour buff the full area with wet mop with a mix of t cut and polish
