Only on till Sunday afternoon.. I have 30 watchers..

Price is starting at £1100, there is no reserve.. also I am offering up driving the car as far as Exeter Services on the M5, cuts off 100 miles of journey through A and B roads into Cornwall.

I know.. I was thinking around £1500..

Some sources still state value of car around £2000 but I'm not greedy, just a smooth, private sale and I'll be happy.. I've bought another car so selling up my Pug..

Red fluid is correct.. but also sometimes greeny colour which goes brown overtime..

I've changed racks on various cars, VW Polo, 205 GTi, Ford Focus and its not really that difficult a job. Go for it.. I would be soaking as many nuts and bolts as you can get to in WD40 for a day or so before you attempt the remove the rack. Follow the manual and you cant go wrong. If you have a spa...

I jacked up car both sides and placed car on axle stands, removed wheels and did both sides at the same time. Adjusted up really well..

I now have 4-5 clicks to hand brake fully on, holding the car on a hill in neutral..

Will pass MOT now!! :mrgreen:

Hi all Fitting new rear brakes and hand brake shoes tonight after getting 12% and failing MOT.. do I need to have both rear wheels off the ground at same time and loosen adjusters at the same time or will it be right if I do one at a time? Hopefully that's just bad track setting - you're supposed to turn both track rods to set it, so the steering wheel remains straight. Probably worth getting it checked out anyway, else it'll eat tyres. Mine has 178k, steering wheel slightly off centre.. ate through pair of fronts part worns way too ...
