ok,latest update....it could be the bsi,it could be the relay near it,or,it could be a bad connection somewhere among all the wiring under the battery tray?Trouble is ,the weather is a bit parky for fiddling about under the bonnet or finding the realy in a scrap-yard,and,more to the point,do I want ...

Thanks very much for that!will have a look,and as an extra , did see one of these transponder thingies on E-bay.The battery was replaced just before all the snow so I know it's not that.

I had to do this too,as soon as we had a cold snap,but don't remember which terminal I undid first!However,the only problem I suffered was having to reset clock,date etc.Radio still kept presets.My remote central locking never worked anyway,but maybe that just fogs the issue,sorry.Oh,and the alarm w...

yes,further to this one....I only have one key that doesn't work the remote central locking,is this a battery problem?Do I need one of these switches you're talking about?I too have seen various cheap "quick fixes" on E-bay,but do they work? yeah,had a look under seats yesterday and found the sender...it comes with pump too?Sounds expensive,and probably why not fixed by last owner.It'll have to wait till the weekend when I can get to a scrapyard.Need an Owners Manual too as I can't seem to get CD player to work.E-bay?
