My garage has told me there is wear on all the bushes on the rear suspension and that it is an expensive job.
How difficult is it to replace them myself.
Has anyone done this job?

Boot will not open
For some reason my boot wont open, I can feel the click when I use the key buton and I have tried to open the lid with the key manually. so with some difficulty I dropped the back seats ( through the ski flap) but there is nothing obvious that would jam the mechanism.
Any ideas as to what I do next?

My 2001 2.0 diesel has developed starting problems in the morning. it needs several turns on the starter motor before I get a chug and then on the next attempt it starts. Re: Rear drop links
Thanks for your reply I feel what you say is right, I seem to remember some years ago channging drop links as I had to grind the nuts off, so I was confused when the garage said there would be a problem. Many thanks I will do it myself

Rear drop links
I have bought a set of rear drop links and took them to my garage to have them fitted, he tells me I will have to have the rear wheels realigned if I have them fitted making it expensive. Is this right?
