I always assumed it was in the speaker on mine so it could 'see' through the speaker grill and back window.

If you want to buy the whole lot, and for you only, I'll go to £80 + postage. But please please please have a good think before you go doing all this and spending all this money on installing it. One thing to keep in mind is these sat navs seem to all be temperemental. As an example, my original one...

That's the sat nav unit holder you've got above your amp. The gps aerial was just jammed into one of the speakers.

Afraid not. Maybe it would be best if you were to see it in the flesh in someone's car. You could go to a garage and pretend to be interested in a coupe (careful mind, you may fall in love!)

That looks like the connector for sat nav, and yours is the only exec I know of without sat nav, so I'm starting to wonder if the dealer you got the car from has swapped your sat nav for a car without one. OR, maybe the sat nav unit in your car didn't work, so they took it out and changed the displa...

in your opinion does the 407 handle as well as the 406 without trying to start an argument, the 407's handling is far superior to the 406, mainly because its a newer setup. I'd agree with this all day long. I drove my work's 407 estate to Manchester and back, and on the twisty roads, it was superb.
