If your key has a LED 'bulb' beside the blade then it's an Infra Red type, other wise it's RF. BTW D8's do use both types.

If you're talking about a D8 RF then it will work, as long as they all came from the same car to start off with. I know as I have done just that, although it was only one plip I changed. OK then, I work for a company that tests mobile 'phones for various different manufacturers to ensure they do what they say and don't mess up the networks for everyone else.
