Re: Is there a warning light for cruise control turned on?
My Coupe has it factorry fitted and the light is down by your right knee - by the switch - useless!
I retro fitted to the Berlingo and there is no warning light on that

Re: Scumbag thieves wreck Aunty's life.....
I see scum like this every day and that's all they are - just a waste of skin. I empathise with you, having had a similar problem with mother a couple of years ago. Strange blokes calling during the day and the door or windows being knocked at night. I spent several nights lying up in case I "bumped...

Re: HDI, 110 intercooler into 90, is it possible?
Welly, Agree fully with what you say. Fuelling, boost and cooling are all interrelated - to get the best you HAVE to increase all three proportionally. I believe that my plans cover these issues and will provide what I'm after. If this isn't considered as a package, then at best, you will not get th...

Still wouldn't make much difference to the BHP, a lot of work for small gain. The installation of an I/C on it's own won't make much difference - probably not even noticable. But it is necessary if you wish to carry out further modifications. The standard I/C is rather on the small side granted, bu...

Re: HDI, 110 intercooler into 90, is it possible?
Jasper, Fully agree that the remap is the best result - if you can get one. The Siemens system in mine is notoriously reluctant to be altered. All the remap companies I have contacted have either said "sorry - can't help" or haven't bothered replying. The point of the intercooler for me is to lower ...

Re: HDI, 110 intercooler into 90, is it possible?
I beleve that the injectors are the same. The 90 has a mechanically operated wastegate on the turbo, on the 110 it is controlled by the ECU. The 90 runs 14 psi from the turbo, I don't know what the 110 produces. The inlet manifolds are the same. There is a different plastic "subframe" which attaches...

No, they're not the best. Virtually no lumber support. I did think about swapping seats to better spec ones from a 406 but it was all too much trouble - hence the piece of bar. It's a bit of a shame because it does everything else well, carrying people, dogs, crap to the tip, sand, cement, timber et...

Re: 406 Estate Rear Wiper Stopped Working After...
It was a '99 Civic VTi - Went like stink and very challenging torque steer. But it was only a Rover 400 with different badges when all's said & done. I am more than happy with the Kermitmobiles and accept their little foibles in the electrickery department. If the Blingo dies then I would seriously ...

P.S.
Many other cars might well have electrickery problems as well, but apart from one Honda all the cars I've owned in the past few years have been French - for one good reason - they're comfortable !!! That's my personal experience

Re: 406 Estate Rear Wiper Stopped Working After...
When i bought it at 77,000 miles they had sank a bit - Turned out to be the foam degrading. Put up with it for a year or so trying various temporary fixes, but got fed up a week ago and put a piece of 2"x1" - for you 50mm x 25 mm bar under the rear of the seat runners and all is well - so far.....
