Re: Rounded off rear calliper bolt
I'm having trouble getting the bottom pin out though, been wacking it with a centre punch but it won't move, but if I got the pads out I still wouldn't be able to get the rounded Allen key bolt out would I?

Rounded off rear calliper bolt
Went to change my rear pads today and somehow the rear calliper bolt is now rounded off, what size bolt is it? I was using a Torx bit, is the correct? I did the other calliper fine last weekend but this caliper I can't get the bottom pin off and now I've found out I've rounded the top caliper bolt. ...

Re: Turbo seized on my Sri turbo
No, no warning light; it probably wasn't as low as I'm saying, but it was a lot less than used to come out, I just cleaned out my throttle body and the car still has an irrational idle sometimes and cuts out in neutral when coming to junctions etc, what else can it be? My idle control valve and now ...

Re: Turbo seized on my Sri turbo
Oh and I keep getting car stalling when in neutral when coming to a junction etc, cleaned out the idle control valve but it still does it, is there anything I can do or is it down to the turbo and ecu being confused? It did it when the turbo was working but maybe turbo was still a problem then

I changed my oil at the weekend since a year ago and I'd used to much oil, hope this seized turbo isn't drinking my oil too much?

Turbo seized on my Sri turbo
It's not worth replacing so can I just keep driving it like it is? Still runs ok just has no boost so bit slow. Not going to do any damage driving it?

Re: Car stalling when slowing down at junctions etc
Sounds like idle control valve from what I've read but I can't seem to find it? I've got an Sri turbo 1997 and can only see Bosch item on the right side of the throttle body but it's square and doesn't look like an idle control valve from the pics I've seen

My cars been cutting out and restarting when the car is in neutral rolling or clutch pressed when coming to a slow/stop etc. Is this a common problem? I googled it and it mentioned about leaking air hoses or something and my car is making a whistle from the turbo which it didn't used to do as if som...

Re: Electrical whine sound when accelerating
So what would cause my turbo to start making this sound other than a leaking pipe?
