oil temp gauge comes on with ignition then doesnt work That's normal behaviour :) Yeah, normally it tells you the oil level when you first switch the ignition on, then it acts as the Oil Temp, so it takes a while for the oil to reach it normal temp... Shame as I think the estate would look nicer without them but since the were totally standard there will be no official hole plugging kit so could be tricky to make something nice enough looking never mind being able to seal them.
